Expansion Of Existing Workshop
This project details the expansion of an existing workshop which is shown in green in the image below. This would be accomplished by removing the central columns. This would create one large workspace with a 5 ton overhead crane and a 3 ton overhead crane leading into the new extended building. Also incorporated in the new extended building would be a maintenance garage on one side and a car park on the other. At the bottom you can see some images taken while this project was being developed.

Drying, Sorting And Storage Installation
This project was given restrictions by building regulations in height. To make sure the entire installation would fit those building restrictions we opted on building it half under ground, inside a large metal pit. I created an entire 3D mockup and placed every machine and it’s connections to make sure it could be built and be functional at the same time. The client now had a precise visual insight of how it would look and how it could be built to fit the building regulations. This project was completed a few years later and is now operational.
I created this industrial home design together with the client in 3D. This to ensure everything was to their specifications and needs. This made it easy to apply adjustments before the first stone was set.
I was asked to design a concrete pouring mold in such a way that it would be possible to lift on one point with an overhead crane. It is designed to work by it’s own weight and without use of any electric motors or hydraulics. When lifted the entire structure decreases it’s diameter and folds together clearing it’s way from the poured concrete shape. When lifted you are able to remove the concrete bucket shape. When you lower the mold structure back into place it is secured on the top and it folds back out increasing it’s diameter by it’s own weight ready to pour a new concrete shape. With this design it is possible to pour the bottom plate and sides in one go creating a solid concrete bucket shape, this to ensure no leaks or cracks.
